AREZZO
Arezzo is one of the provincial capitals of the Tuscan region and is located on the south side of a valley between the Arno and Val di Chiana. Arezzo is a city of arts immersed in the green (his territory is mostly mountainous / hilly). It was originally an Etruscan town (with the name of Arretium) and later became a Roman municipality. In the first century BC became particularly famous for the production of precious ceramics. In later centuries it became a bishopric and was then under the domination of Florence.
